- Gretchen: smiled as he tightened his hold on her. It felt so amazing. So safe and protecting. She heard his compliment and smiled. "Okay, and when I get to see your gorgeous abs, I'm going to stare so... you're warned." She said with a grin. He intertwined their fingers and she felt his thumb on the back of her hand. "Well, then let's cuddle. You feel so warm and safe, I love that. I've never really felt safe before. I was always the one that had to keep people safe. You know Skyler. She gets into trouble and I'm always trying to protect her. And then there is Brittany. She is amazing and I love her but... she lives in her own little world full of rainbows and unicorns. I always have to protect her from everything so... it's really nice to have someone holding me, instead of the other way around." She said as she closed her eyes and relaxed against him.
- Riley: frowned a little at the mention of Skyler’s name and immediately, a feeling of guilt crawled into him. He is aware that the tension between them is not lessening as days pass; perhaps it’s getting worse. He shook his head to shove those thoughts away from his mind. This night is for Gretchen so he’s not going to bring in his personal issues for her to ponder on. “Alrighty then, let’s cuddle. Who am I to not grant such dream of yours,” he said as he laid down the couch, bringing her with him. He laid his head on the couch’s edge roll so she could lay flushed in front of him with her back on him. He then swung his arm around her waist, successfully spooning her. “Feeling comfortable?” he asked as he kissed her earlobe softly.
